i think saving any file for easy veiwing should be by .jpg
most email accounts dont even need to open them, they just show it within the email.

Not sure if you export a jpg from flexi?

If you can’t you can do a screen capture, get you job up on screen, press the print screen button (to the right of the F12 key) Then go into windows paint and click edit paste. you can then crop and save the file as a jpg.

As Rob says it’s probably the best format to use because anybody you email will be able to view it no matter what system/software they have.

    Emailing files

Have you tried PDF? Don’t know much about flexi but PDF is quite universally used.

You would be surprised Brian, i thought that as well, but if you think about it we are in the trade of pictures of all sorts but many food firms or steel fab shops have no need (normally) for such as Corel or adobe etc but most seem to be able to open pdf files.
I have had many phone calls over the years saying “I can’t open your email. it wont let me”
    Long John

NORMA, you will need a bit of advice about exporting flexi to jpeg, it’s easy when you know how, I will post it for you in step by step if it will help.

If you install any progs on your computer they almost universally install pdf reader at the same time.
Almost everybody can open a pdf ie Portable Document Format in it?

You can download free programes that make pdf from the net. Qute pdf is a good one that I used to use.

Some companies install software to block jpegs. A very big national radio group do that. I do pdfs now as exporting or doing screengrabs gives you that pixellated look because most sign progs don’t antialias like Illustrator does.

You still get the odd person who doesn’t know what a PDF is though.
