    Hello everyone :lol1: ,

I am dazzled with all these sign packages; πŸ™„ I just don’t know which package to buy. (-) I have a Cadet cutter/printer and looking to buy my first software package that will help me and work with my machine. What software is best? & Where could I buy it from? Thanks!!

i would advise signlab for cut vinyl work any day…
ive been using it for years now. i hear the new v7 version is good for printing with but not sure if thats a thermal printing module?

also, flexisign, although i dont use it, i have heard many reports about how good it is and how well it works for printing also. think it has its own rip if i read right?

both are pricey but got to be the best on the go..

p.s. sorry, but only proper profile pictures are allowed. i.e. upto date head shot is spot on.. i have deleted your dexter one 3 times now πŸ˜•

Signlab isn’t impressive, it’s easy thats the difference.
    Its foolproof, like MS paint.

Depending on the package of modules you have it’s only as good as much as you’re prepared to pay, printing in my opinion is useless.
Flexi maybe harder to use but far far more advanced and a decent RIP.

When another competitor to cadlink’s signlab comes up with similar software as easy to use as signlab, signlab *will* be history.
In my opinion far too buggy and unstable, no mac version either πŸ˜‰
If coreldraw included the whole vector cutting/printing as part of program it would be worth 3x as much as the best signlab package available to date. I hate corel, but sometimes i think it’s 100% better than signlab.

Dismiss all the big brand names, go for a cheaper name which will enable you to achieve what you desire, this way you’ll save a fortune.

All software is far too expensive, the greed of the developers just emphasies the market of pirated or ‘cracked’ copies, a victim of their own greed .
    Take note.

beg to differ, its what you are confortable with that makes software good.
corel is good for desktop stuff and i use it all the time, but was not designed for signmakers so its horses for courses, try routing with coral, cant be done, dont have the drivers etc. But I would Highly reccomend signlab for somebody starting out

asus, cadlink is just down the road in hitchin, you can buy signlab direct from them or through impact, their link is on the signboard homepage. If you are interested to see before you buy, Not from a saleman but from a user, by all means give me a call.
