Hi mate,
The link comes up as dead.
However I do a lot of publishing work are there are some simple rule when it comes to choosing a TFT.The first is to decide how important colour accuracy is.
If, as in my case, it is important then I strongly recommend Lacie or Eizo as the only two choices.
Lacie is regarded as the better choice and you can even get a light shield for it
I currently have two Lacie’s and an Eizo. I like my Eizo though!
But we warned, these are professional TFT’s and command a price premium, you will get good colour accuracy though! The second is that regardless of the screen you buy, you must get a calibration tool. You can get a USB one for around £50 in the UK.

My comments stand the asus is mid range end user monitor with a brightness of 300cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 700:1 with dull white and uneven black.
Not good for colour work
If you must go for a home TFT then consider the Dell E228WFP which is better quality. For pro colour work Eizo and Lacie cannot be beat!

The models available in Malta are
LG L226WTQ Black Wide
Iiyama ProLite E2200WS-W1
Viewsonic Optiquest Q22wb Widewhat u think? and what specifications shall i look for mostly…
(i will use it in my studio, where i do large format printing and offer graphic design services) -
I do most my work on a viewsonic VP11B, its a great monitor… 21.5 inch wide…
got myself one of these at 23inches wide but havent had enough use of it to comment fairly… but all seems top notch so far. 😀

one of last years issues was to improve the monitors, i had a few Lacie CRT’S as they give good colour accuracy, with last years computer budget i ordered 4 lacie TFT’s but that turned into an out-of-stock item. i then was offered the apple monitor as an alternative, they turned out fantastic.
I actually made my choices by visiting Ipex NEC show this year, saw all the NEC, Apple’s, Lacies and Eizo’s, so I had a damn good luck at them all. If budget is a problem then the Samsung is a good alternative but you will end up with near colours.
To be honest i have on the way a 5th Apple screen, i managed to wangle a second user one for £270, normal price tag is £400ish
