Dave – you’re a genius and generous to a fault. I bet your wife takes great delight in showing all her flimsy furniture to her friends 😳

Meanwhile other uses? – We use the waste from weeding vinyl to make flypaper. Hang it in balls above the cauldron to keep the flies off the porridge 😕

My old vinyl tubes were recently turned into a forest by a local primary school. 😀

In my last house I used silver Dibond all around the kitchen as splashbacks. I routed all the corners and alcoves and you couldn’t see a join anywhere.
It looked great, pity I never took a picture of it before we moved.

Me and John who works with me use old cores to put over our arms and have long arm robot fights outside the shop.

apart from that I use the sticky backing from my T shirt vinyl for layering up stickers from cut vinyl, its great you can use it many times over and being clear its easy to line up, also its stiff so never any bubbles.

But the cores are much more fun especially in summer when tourists are watching in utter disbelief

We used white and silver composite in our pub kitchen and pot-wash area on all the walls-our Environmental Health officer was well impressed!

Also marble-effect comp. on walls in the mens loos, and mirrored comp. as mirrors in ladies (full height) and gents loos. Works well, and no risk of breaking!

    🙁
Now I’m homesick for Lynn and Peter’s….
The only thing I have ever done is once about 20 years ago I did signs for someone (got a deposit) delivered them and his wife had some sort of dumb complaint, I can’t remember but it was unfounded.
I went and picked them up, supposedly to fix the problem (I think it was she didn’t like the shade of green I’d used, picked by the hubby)
and promptly turned them into sub flooring for the bathroom.
    :lol1:
    Some neat ideas there, folks.
    Love….Jill

I gave my father in law who is 74 this month a 6×2 piece of 5mm Foamex about 3 or 4 years ago to use as a board for sliding on when he works under his jalopy. We went round last weekend and I saw him using it as a walk board on top of his garage roof so he could prune next doors tree. His roof is made of 40 year old corrugated asbestos 😮 😮

He took some convincing that it wasn’t up to it. 🙄 🙄

Its one of the worst outdoor uses of foamex I’ve seen.

Other than that I haven’t used anything.

    Cheers

    Gary

A few weeks ago I used a sheet of corriboard to make the roof and and a tray in the bottom of hen house.
I have used some di-bond to make a easy-to wipe-clean top on the table… kind of a big plate really, that the little chap can’t throw on the ground…..

Just remembered – we have some table mats made from white Forrex top. These were made for christmas a few years ago and decorated with cut vinyl christmassy graphics.

The reason I remembered is because Alisons mum and Dad just came for dinner and we used them during our meal today . 😎 😕

well today I discovered that Lil Chizzlers (or whatever they’re called) are handy for putting polyfilla into small dents and holes in the wall. 😀 Got the decorators coming in tomorrow to do the whole house and I’ve been filling holes and sanding down all day! I now know why men have a thing about silicone guns 😳 me and Emily have been fighting over using the decorators filler to fill any holes we can find! 😳
