    Hi Guys,

Looking a few opinions on this.

I’ve a customer looking some signs done for his new trailer. He’s already approved the design etc but theres a few things holding me back from completing the job.

The guy wants me to do the signs on correx board, which on a trailer, especially for his line of work, isn’t going to work or last. It would just damage very easily.

I’m looking down the lines of something like dibond. Would this be a better option? I’ve never really worked with it before. What sort of thickness would I be after?

    Thanks
    Jonny

if you mean a pyramid trailer. the cheapest and easiest way for ads to be constantly changed is to fit a banner fixed in place by small bungee hooks to keep the tension. or simply fit a banner and screw in place around the edges using flat bar aluminium.

i see… well would do it in 2mm aluminium, but dibond would do too…
if he is adamant he wants correx, give him it, but make it clear hes on his own once its fitted. people like this arent worth wasting time on, if you want the sale give him it as he asks, if he cant be persuaded.
i hate customers like this… tell him to dig your garden with a plastic spade. see how he likes it. 😉 :lol1:

Cheers Rob! Customer was too tight to spend the extra few quid for stuff that would last. Oh well I told him straight.

No doubt he’ll be back in a month or so looking the better stuff.
