  • What is the printing process for gazebos / marquees?

    Hi gang,

    Hope everyone is well.

Just had one of my friends ask about printing his logos onto a gazebo.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section but wasn’t quite sure where to put it. I have had a little search but didn’t find any relevant posts. A quick search on Google didn’t turn up much either

Completely foreign to me, what are the general processes required for printing onto marquees/how do people normally go about it? Do the marquees come in several pieces (material wise)? and is just a case of aligning it and running it through the printer straight?

Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    Jon

I’d be interested in this as well.

I understand that if you want a temporary graphic then vinyls will be ok but once you fold the gazebo up the graphic will then become creased and start to peel.

My understanding is the graphic needs to be screen printed on

    I have seen several ways.

It can be digital printed on, but this is at the manufacturers stage.

A heatpressed logo along the front edge, normally have to do 1 letter at a time.

Masking the logo the roller inking it on, we have don`t this once, we found the ink ran alittle under the mask, but the customer was happy.

We do quite a few marquees with logos on them for a local manufacturer. We cut out stencils using oracal oramask, and spray paint them using screen printing inks.
