Did you try the application launcher?
If you can post it on the boards I’ll try for you, but I don’t think I can post my email address.

Hi peter do you have a.illustrator if so open your corel file up in a.i
then export as illustrator legacy eps file .then drop down to version 3
when asked. that should then open up in sign lab 7.1
always works for me courtesy of a tip from lynn i think.

Peter, I always export as ai version 1. The only occasional problem I have is the file having vertical cut lines through it, which is weird. (Welding fixes this.) Signlab 4.95

Hi Peter,
Here’s a little information about embedding font info in the PDF file…
Rod
CorelDraw: Embed fonts when publish to PDF
- Go File menu >> Publish to PDF.
- On the Publish to PDF dialog, click Settings.
- Click the Objects tab.
- Tick the "Embed fonts in document" checkbox.
- Whilst you’re at it, tick the "Embed base 14 fonts" checkbox.
- Click OK.
- Proceed to save your PDF file.
When bringing the PDF into SignLab, the PDF Import Options dialog will open.
- Remove tick from "Import text as graphics" checkbox.
- Tick the "Allow subfonts" checkbox.
- Click OK to proceed.
The text objects will be brought into SignLab using the font that was embedded within the PDF file.

Thanks Rod, I think we got it sorted,
I didnt have the fonts on my system that were used in the original corel file though.I will keep the font info in mind, cheers.
Andy ai was my first attempt, but there was one object that was causing problems, spreading itself out all over the page, in loads of separate piecesPeter
