do you mean like a clip frame poster holder?
think we just use a 1mm acitate from amari or RHG for replacments.

    comes in 8′ x 4′ or 3m x 2m i think…

the reason we use polycarbonate is if it has broke once, it’s likely to get broke again, !!

Acetate is cheaper , but nowhere near as good

Ian, are we talking about the same thing here mate?

I am talking about a clip/snap frame poster holder. by the sounds of it you may be talking about a poster case type thing?

reason i say is… clip/snap frame poster holders wouldn’t hold a 2mm polycarb very well as ide image it would prevent the frame closing properly at the corners.
also when you mention break? acetate is just the anti-glare, anti-dirt covering for the poster frame.

we provide allot of these for places and never had any break. dont think acetate can brake, just kinks at worst.
however we have replaced a few over time in the big ones, when the staff are changing the posters they sometimes scratch the hell out them on the ground, stood on and more. some as i say get kinked on the corners and prevent the clip frame closing. basically all and any damage is down to staff negligence.
