Looking at experimenting with semi wraps etc and bought a roll of wrap cut pro, seems to work OK but struggling to get it to go round curves.
Just wondering what tape everybody else uses for this sort of thing.

I havent tried your brand of tape, I use Knifeless tape, which comes in different widths for different applications.
For tight bends you need to use the narrow version – I think it goes as thin as 3mm and maybe even thinner.
After removing the plastic blow some heat over the cut edge to remove the stress wrinkles before squeegeeing it back down for a much neater edge.
Thanks Simon, sounds worth a try. The stuff I’ve got at the moment is 4mm wide, seems to leave a nice neat edge and like I say, I’m just playing around to see what works.
Some cutting tapes have the filament at the edge, if you use those you can snip the carrier tape at the corners to allow for a tighter bend. Don’t overdo it though. Always give it some heat to give a better bond
I use both:
– Wrapcut for straight cuts. I find it not suitable for round curves.
– KnifelessTape for cut with round curves. I find it difficult to make clean straight long cuts.
