What is the best route to export text & logos from 6e to Corel 11,
similarly is there a preferred method to import 3rd party artworks
    into 6e ?

Use the EPS filter in Signlab, we do it all the time.

Just make sure when you are in Corel you use the EPS, PRN, EPS Postcript Interpreted filter, otherwise you will just get a grey box in Corel.

Use EPS in Corel as well if you want to take files the other way…

If just doing basic stuff, eps export should be fine or Ai export.

But if you have gradient fills in Signlab i would recommend that you install the Apple Color Laser Writer printer into Windows via Add Printer from Control Panel. Then, set the Port location of the Printer driver to File.
Then from Signlab, instead of Exporting, go File/Print and print to the Apple Color Laser Writer printer and when prompted for a File name, give it an EPS extension.

Transferring gradients from one program to another is a struggle but the Apple color laser printer driver seems like a good universal translter.
And as Brian said, use “eps interpreted” in Corel to import

    sounds too simple but………….

    sometimes cut and paste works…

all depending on the artwork, but for ease of use its worth trying first.

but as already said, eps works ok if this fails…
