I have very limited knowledge on Ink, but know Sun Chemical is a reputable Ink manufacturer. as for the Ink itself, haven’t a clue mate… the word "Screen" on the side would tend to mean its screen printing ink. but i could be completely wrong on that too.

great bunch of help i am eh? :lol1:

I thought with the word "screen" on it would have been for screen printing but all the inks are like water, do screen printing inks have a thick consistency?

If it is Streamline it is an ink for a digital printer.

In this instance, SUN Chemical Streamline 0919 are solvent inks for Roland printers.

    SWFPK-0919 Black – 1000ml
    SWFPC-0919 Cyan – 1000ml
    SWFPM-0919 Magenta – 1000ml
    SWFPY-0919 Yellow – 1000ml
    SWFLC-0919 Light Cyan – 1000ml
    SWFLM-0919 Light Magenta – 1000ml

Ironically whilst they smell strong, they actually use chemicals that are not as nasty as some other inks that have no odour at all.

Thanks Justin, do you know if it’s outdoor ink and would it run in a Roland CJ500?

    Cheers

This ink is designed for DX4 heads in Roland Pro2/3 and versacamms, as far as im aware.

I think the CJ500 has a DX2 Print Head, so no, I wouldn’t risk it!

    Thanks,
    Justin

We had these installed on our old CJ500 just flushed and cleaned all the pipes and heads out thoroughly. Its a good ink as we used to leave the machine for days and just start printing again with no problems of blocked nozzles or anything. Quite a reasonable price when we where buying them
