What I got up to in a field this afternoon
Posted by Phill Fenton on May 12, 2009 at 3:20 pmWe fitted this to an advertising trailer in a field this afternoon.
It dawned on me yesterday when we finished producing the individual sections and lined it all up in the unit to test fit it – that it probably holds the record for the biggest sign we have made to date. It measures 20ft x 10ft made from 4 sections each measuring 10ft x 5ft

Nice Phill.
But wouldn’t it have been easier to apply it in your workshop?
-
nice work Phil looks like the extra space in your new unit is being put to good use, is that all digital onto composite?

😀 😀 looks like his wee man 😀
Good job though.

The trailer was too tall to fit inside our workshop John C.
It was a combination of digi print and cut vinyl applied to Forrex John H (not ideal I know – but all the budget for this particular job would allow)
And George…you’re supposed to admire the sign, not stare at my knob 😕 -
Thanks Lynn – and what did you think of the sign 😳 😕

I wish I had one like that.
Workshop that is
keep up the good work PhillPeter

Hahaha I would have never noticed that, thanks for pointing it out George!
I have to work in a field tomorrow too, a farm sign I did in 1998 needs hours of operation added.

Only George notices things like that Jill.
Good job Phill,
I trust you carried out a full risk assessment prior to fitting on uneven ground and being more than 1/2 mtr up a ladder

Great job Phill i used to do quite a few around here until the council banned them from fields running alongside the motorway 😕
