I had a huge week this week. Not finished before midnight each night, one night worked till 3am, most I worked to 1am.

Not very exciting I know. Best I can do tho Brian 😛

For a part timer Ive had my best week yet with some marina yard signage, a 33′ yacht that’s going by road to Edinburgh this week (watch out for chrome vinyl falling off in the Forth!!) and a fantastic light box for a chip shop……Wish I could leave the day job now…… :lol1:

A bit manic last week trying to get (and did) away to Belgium for a long weekend visiting friends.

Been back about 1/2 hour so just checking up on emails & such like (sad – so sad) after giving the dog plenty of attention & treats (he’s still mad at Manda & presently lying on my feet).

Well deserved break, and a reminder that my ‘conversational’ Dutch well & truly sucks…well, it’s been 8 years so quite a few times when I’m only getting 5-10% of anything…and replying with not much more than the basics.

Well back to work tomorrow to face whatever mountain of enquiries & jobs that being off for two days throws up. Oh, joy….

I had a pig of a time last week. Oh, it wasn’t boring, far from it, just unnecessary aggravation from start to finish.

This week, well, it’s fine for the moment, but I know what’s coming and I reckon it will turn out to be the same long before we get to Friday.

I like boring weeks, those where we just plod along and everything seems to happen, preferably without too much input from me. Oh yes, bring ’em on. 😀

Never mind, I’ve got three short weeks upcoming. CV Show next week, SignUK the week after, and the one after that a long weekend in France. 😀

Well pretty crap workwise. Not been in last week due to the Easter holidays and having to look after the kids. Worked Saturday (nice LWB Transit) and Sunday, lettering onto a totem pole sign for a local dealership. Got to work today and got nothing done due to phone calls and people walking in, looks like a busy April 😀

But saying that… I have not been at work much in March (kids ill and off school, then Easter) and it has nearly been my best month ever, hows that work?? Bit more of that please!!

Edit: I did work until the early hours a few nights after the wife had got home from work 😀 So maybe I did work a fair bit and was just on auto-pilot

😮 Just realised how busy I’ve been in dollar terms. Finished my invoices for the week, and I’ve done my normal months turnover in 7 days … no wonder I’m tired…..

Belgium Dave? I get so jealous of you guys some times…. the world is so close to your homes, and we are 12 hours plane ride from anywhere interesting… aside from New Zealand of course (don’t want to get my Kiwi cousins off side, I’m holidaying there again next year….) 😛

we have had a manic two weeks… upto our eyes in it just now. had a massive printer issue which turned out to be the silliest problem ever! the outcome is a big backlog in print work now… on top of our regular work andrew, graham and david "with me lending a hand" 😉 had to cut 2100 linear metres of vinyl, weed and apply application tape to it and have it delivered each day as we progressed to glasgow centre to keep the fitters fed with the graphics. in between this i have been gutting and renovating one of our workshop units… if it wasnt for this lot ide be finished by now. 😕
im hoping to be ontop of things by firday and the unit done too… only for me to get things organised on the boards for signuk which is just about to pop up! :lol1:

Had a manic 4 weeks, hence the reason I ain’t been around on the boards. Been to France for 5 days to check out the house then fitted vinyls to the fascia of my estate agents over there. Applied French letters you could say :lol1:
Then come Easter, went camping to Betws-y-Coed. It snowed a lot and a 50′ oak tree got blown over the main entrance to the site. It was fun though. 🙄
Been very busy with work since then and looking forward to having a day off to go to the show.
Still off the ciggies, been 4 months now and it isn’t driving me round the bend anymore.

Ah – but have you put on weight?

I think there should be a government health warning put on cigarette packets saying – "Warning – stopping smoking can make go fat!"

    😕

Well done on the long marriage, the future grandchild, and obviously congrats to Rob and his better half too.
