what does this error ’15 framing/parity’ mean please?
Running Flexi 7.6 V1 on my PC & it’s connected to a Roland Camm 300 via a serial cable. It’s been fine for over 2 years, but all of a sudden, I keep getting an error 15 on the screen of the plotter & the production manager says the plotter is not responding.
What does this mean & how can I fix it? Plotter is also connected to a mac (& always has been) & works fine with that.
Any ideas guys?

I just had a very similar problem on my Graphtec cutter when sending from Wasatch i was getting HP-GL error 15 or HP-GL error 1 no cumunication with plotter, from flexi it would cut however in the print box thingy you can query media size in plotter this return no comunication error.
The problem with mine was the cable had gone I must have trod on it or something like that cos wiggle cable it would work wiggle again it would stop working, replace with brand new cable and all works fine again.
Must be worth trying new cable.Russell.
