We have none of the versions that you mention but we do have the basic Wilcom ES Designer software, it is a very basic lettering setup but having said that, now that we are used to it its all we need and have no wish to upgrade, anything that we require outside of basic lettering we get digitized for us by one of the many companies that do it. I would say in my opinion its the best way to go as you can only do so much yourself.

Same as Kevin, ES Designer does the basics for us & we just outsource any digitizing required, the customer foots the digitizing bill anyway so why lay out all that cash on expensive software?

Looks like Deco Embroidery studio Level 3 is equivalent to Wilcom ES65.
Whatever package you go for i would prefer a package that gives you the ability to digitize in the embroidery software rather than convert from a vector with no adjustments, this all depends on the artwork. Normally with Corel Drawings or similar software, letters on a single colour or basic shapes work really well with the conversion process but it struggles when you have detailed small stuff to convert.
ES65 is very expensive but has total control over everything. I imagine from experience that the cheaper you go the less control you have over the conversion process. Last time i looked the full Wilcom ES65 package was around 8k. It sometimes appears on Fleabay for around 3-4k.

I’ve decided to go with DecoNetwork for now

Just going to stick with a basic digitizing software till I need something more powerful and just outsource the digitizing for now

Anyone else use DecoNetwork? Seems confusing with all the different options on board but i’m sure it will be great once it’s setup properly
