What a day!!!!!
Well day started nice and sunny coldish but you expect that at this time of year.so over coffee we talk about what we are doing today, no work work to do, caught up nicely yesterday, loads of house work to catch up on. (People ask if i have a hobby !! yes collecting dust) so Peter say’s I’ll go and get the paint for the glass (on another thread) so he goe’s of intrepid comes back hours later and say’s I think I’ll put the lights out we uaually put lights outside so several hours later we have an 8 foot snowman and penguin on the roof *(my heart was in my mouth with Peter prancing about on the roof) and lots of twinkling light as well

where did you find one a few inches bigger than me? 😕 😉i have done the same lynn… i was in my bed for ages today. late night last night 😀 then this afternoon my wee one asked “when the hell the tree was going up” 😕 so off i went setting up the tree etc… only to realise that we have absolutely no decorations? 😮 you may have read i moved house recently? in doing so… ive lost the decorations box… so… off i went to spend a bloddy small fortune on decorations. 😕 ide hve thought they would be cheaper these days… but nop… wife says… oh get gold and red only… gold this, gold that… oh and the neighbours have lights round the trees and roof… pop those in the trolley too! 🙄
by now im starting to wonder if she actually hid the bloody things. 👿
so where is peter now… still on the roof? :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

Put our lights on the roof today as well…. so much easier taking the cherry picker home, did all the guttering in less than 20 minutes!
Thing is…. the neighbours want theirs doing tomorrow now!
