What 1.6m Laminator would you buy?
Hi Guys
I’m new to this forum and I am after some advice.
We have been large format printing for 12 years at 1370mm wide and have just ordered a new Mimaki JV150-160.
I need to update my Seal Base 54, but I am really struggling with what to get.
I’ve been looking at the following 1.6m wide laminators. Any views, opinions or advice on these would be greatly appreciated.
Budget £5,000 – £7,000
– Kala Mistral 1650 (new)
– Drytac Pro JM63 (new)
– Romec Hotpress 1600 (reconditioned with new rollers)Thanks again

We have a mounters mate. It’s with in your budget. Quite a few others on here have them to. Well worth a look.

I’ll second mounters mate, I’ve had mine 3 years now I think and hasn’t let me down once. We also have a flatbed applicator table from them and service for both items was spot on.
