Well, I swapped from Blackberry to iPhone 4s
Well i have said it all along, "if ever" i changed from my Blackberry Bold to an iPhone i would eat my hat and let you all know… so here it is! 😛 :lol1:
I have had countless different Blackberrys going back about 5 years now.
loved the Bold and always kept up to date with them. My main thing about a phone is "i want a phone" the blackberry comes with a decent keypad and i can text and email very quickly, and phone as normal. I have a Google Chromebook for anything else i may need…anyway, had a fall out with 02 last week due to the ringer on my blackberry not working correct. when i cmplained they then tell me my warranty had ran out and i wasnt insured. which is a joke and why i ranted. "i always have had insurance" could even tell them how much i was quoted and more. anyway, i had to shell out for the phone and was quoted the same for the new Blackberry touch screen bold as i was the iPhone4s so i went with the iphone for a change…
So far, i love it! Yep, my HAT is deep in my mouth and i am mummbling the words "ah wuvv it, oh hey" 😉 :lol1:
however however… as much as i love what it does and can do…
the ease of using it and the whole cloud thing i have setup too.
i STILL HATE the keys for typing. as a phone its great, big buttons and all…
but typing. im reduced toa single index finger doing the pogo in slow motion all over my screen… even at that, im still hitting keys around the one i aim for. text is down to as little as i need too, email is not an option yet. so till i get the hang of the one thing i knew i wouldnt like, ill need to give it 90% thumbs up from me so far! 😉 :lol1:as i said though, it is great and i recon in a couple of weeks time i might be upto speed with it.
not sure if many of you have tried the Mophie juice pack with yours?
its basically a phone protector with additional battery charge of over a full charge… so the phone has something like 220% of battery life in it and is protected too.this is the mophie 1500 version but i opted for the 2000 version.
http://encaseapple.com/2011/11/29/light … hone-4-4s/downside is it makes the phone bulkier. but not any big deal. worth it for the extra battery life.
another downside i see is the screen size, i just know i am going to break it.
i was fitting an LED sign today and climbing about in a susbended ceiling on my stomouch and could feel the pressure the phone was under in my pocket. 😕 i know i know, take the phone out, but we forget dont we? anyway, wouldnt be an issue with the blackberry. :lol1:
