  • Well done Ashby Trade Signs

    Just wanted to say publicly a big thank you to Ashby Trade signs. Part of a consignment had been damaged (despite being well packaged) in transit last Thursday. This was collected on Friday and a replacement pan arrived today. This was not an "off the shelf" item but a bespoke pan – I’m amazed at how quickly they were able to turn this around and provide a replacement. :appl: :appl:

    Good to hear that, they’ve taken a bit of a bashing at times, Credit where it’s due though!

    I agree, its good to hear as they have taken a fair bit of criticism over the last couple of years

    I have used Ashby for many many years and and quite a bit lately and always found them very good in all ways.

    Unfortunately we mostly hear criticism of companies on UKSB when we want a rant or in some cases, "holding the boards as a gun to a suppliers head". needless to say "some deserve it" whilst some just have an off day, "don’t we all?" 😕
    So it is always good to see members posting good reports regarding their suppliers…

    Used them first time couple weeks back and couldn’t be happier.

    Only bad part is they wrap them so well that theres a ton of packing to dispose of after hehe. Cant please them all aye 😛 .

    That’s what’s such a shame, when they’re on it they produce some really good stuff, well priced and pretty quick, but sometimes they really are beyond a pain in the arse. I sent them a link to a complaint thread on here (as backup for a complaint I was making) a couple of weeks ago and since then they do seem to be trying harder. Long may it continue.

    We ordered two LED trough lights for our own unit less than a month ago.

    Was up the ladder today installing a photocell timer, and noticed one is filling with water, a quick call to Ashby, and without hesitation they’ve acknowledged there’s a fault with it and I’ll have a new replacement with us Wednesday. :thumbsup:

    Very impressed with that, so a well done from me!
