    I know this isn’t anything new, but it doesn’t seem like many people take advantage of it.

    http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont Just follow the upload instructions for the image that you need a font ID on and upload it. Within second you should have a result of that font is being used.

    Some tips that I have learned since I started using this.

    1 – Use white backgrounds with black font lettering when possible

    2 – Only try to identify one font at a time, so try to crop out any useless text or images

    This has proven to be a huge timesaver for me and my company so I hope that everyone in the community has as good as success with it as I have. If it does not turn up any results, the image is uploaded to the WhatTheFont forum where a few thousand users are able to help you to determine it as well.

    excellent resource – this could save a lot of time. It seems especially good with any font that has lots of "character".
