I know what happened:

The tide came in and the boat floated up above the ledge. The car (because it doesn’t float) hung in the water below the boat. When the tide went out again the boat settled onto the ledge and left the car dangling. 😮

I actually got this sent to me from a cousin in the states about 4 years ago, and printed it big enough to cover the side of my van.

Got some attention I can tell you, and heaps of business.

I had to take it off in the finish because people would congregate around my van at shopping centres, and I couldn’t get the door open to leave.

I even had an engineer pull me over so he could examine the picture and give me his scenario of how it happened. Simply, the boat was too heavy for the truck, and when the truck tried to stop, with no electric brakes, it just kept pushing until the truck went over the edge. He even guessed the weight of each vehicle and all but I have forgotten it all now.

I think a change of underwear would have been on the agenda as soon as he got out of the truck don’t you think 😛
