    hi peeps

we are getting rid of our pacer hds router we have found it to be a pile of rubbish 👿 and the support is lacking as well

we are looking at the axyz , tekcel and multicam machines

minimum bed size required is 2500 x 1250
needs to be accurate and robust as it will be running 10 hrs a day plus
a good vacuum is required for multi part nesting
    and good after sales support

A friend of mine has a multicam and loves it. He is creating some wonderful 3D work with it using the "Enroute" program and his incredible creativity. He opted for the automatic tool changer option which is invaluable in doing this kind of work.
I have had a Gerber Sabre 408 for 5 years and it has been super reliable and accurate. Even if you can’t justify a tool changer, go for the vacuum hold down and a high speed spindle. We have the mist coolant option, but because of the mess created, we seldom cut aluminum…we sub it out. You can’t use a vacuum chip removal system when cutting aluminum…explosion hazard.
All our equipment and production software is Gerber…it’s been incredibly reliable for us.
All the best…prepare for some fun whichever one you chose
P.S. in North America we spell Aluminium…Aluminum it’s not a typo.
