Watford accommodation?
We are going on a “Wrapping” course 10 Th – 12 Th April at Vale ind park Tolpits Lane Watford.
What i need is a bit of help with accommodation, does anyone in that area know of or would recommend a reasonable priced B & B within walking distance (hopefully) The postcode is WD18 9QP if that helps.I have emailed several in the area (found on the Internet) but some don’t want to know until a few days before & others don’t reply.
Any help or advise would be most appreciated.L J

i occasionally do work in the watford area john. i have never stayed in there though. i normally drive down into the city & stay at tower bridge travel inn metro or go around the north circular road and stay in the travel lodge hotel in the isle of dogs east end of london. it has a great restaurant, bar and overlooks the millenium dome. lots of great sites to see at walking distance too. parking is free at the rear of hotel also.
sorry i cant be of more help… but it is a good night out on the tiles too 😉

Thanks for that Rob, trouble is i would rather we stayed as local as poss as i need my beauty sleep 😳 (some would say it’s too late for that now)
Have had one of our friends on here pm me offering to put us up for the 3 nights, but don’t want to impose on anyone, just thought someone might have suggestions as to where to stay near their to save getting stuck in north London traffic.
Still think this uksb is a brilliant place to make friends in the trade, where else would you find people offering to put you up for 3 nights without asking for something in return?
