  • Water Base inks that could replace Solvent Inks

At SignUK, has anyone come across the new Hp latex ink and SEPIAX water base INK that could replace Solvent ink?

According to Printweek Hp Latex ink can print on most solvent ink media and even some that solvent inks are unable to print on such as Tyvek.

SEPIAX inks are the first inks worldwide that combine the advantage of the harmlessness of water-based inks with the advantage of the reliability of solvent inks or UV inks.

grafityp were pushing new BIO inks called megaink no real price advantage, sounds like a load of hassle to me.

i plug a genuine cart in and it works no hassle it just works.

Chris, the Megaink is from Czech Republic and is very popular in USA probably 2nd after Triangle INK.
I met them at Sign & Graphic trade fairs in South Africa, twice the UAE and I would probably meet them again on next week 7-9th May at the Media Expo in Singapore. The Megaink BioMGInk still requires some sort of ventilation.

Hewlett Packard (HP) has invested a huge amount at their HP Scitex Lab in Israel to develop this new environmentally friendly LATEX ink.
