I have an HP Z6100 Designjet Printer, Wasatch SoftRip & I’m using HP Premium Vivid COlor Backlit material. I have been able to match Vinyl and Photo paper from the rip but I just CAN’T get the backlit down. If anyone is using wasatch and an HP Backlit roll of backlit material could you please help me with the set up, calibration or whatever it may be?

    The problem:

The colors are really washed out, very pale. Not rich and strong as if I printed directly from inDesign or any other Design software. At first we had a problem with the BLACK backgrounds not being strong enough. Now they are but the rest of the colors are just DEAD.

    Any suggestions or Reccomended setups?

Thank you all very much for your time.

    Dennis.

Have not printed backlit before but use Wasatch and a Mimaki printer and when we print clear i always set overprint to 2, this lays down the colour twice and makes them much stronger.

    Regards

    I see… I will definitely try that.

Thank you very much. I will update on this if I find a good setup
