    Hi all,

First of all we have a Mutoh Valuejet 614, and we use wasatch softrip 6.4 to run that and our graphtec cutter, the problem i have is when im trying to print and cut, every illustrator cs3 file i load onto wasatch moves the cutpath by a few mm so it doesnt cut in the correct place. i have created the cutpath as a 0.25pt line and called it CutPath and have tried various things to resolve this but i am well and truly stuck now, has anyone else had this problem??

any help would be greatly appriciated

    regards
    justin

Justin, I had the same problem too. In Illustrator draw a box around the image you want to print & cut and try again.

    Good Luck

some times that rip shows the marching ants a little off, down to screen res i was told.

are you sure that the graphtec cutting head is calibrated to the reg marks sensor ?

Only time I ever had an alignment problem with my Graphtec using Wasatch is when I had selected centre on media, apparently this is a known fault on Wasatch.

    Regards

    Russell.
