right now that I have your attention! :lol1:

In my haste to order a job for flat cut lettering I received them but they have the smallest of smallest locators on them and the screws are tiny. My problem is they are to be fixed directly to a wall so can’t use plugs due to size of screws.

Anybody have any ideas of a way to fix these or do I cut my loses and order a new set with rods or something or am I missing the obvious?

    Cheers

    Warren

Warren this might sound outlandish but I used tacks to fit the cups to the wall I driiled small holes pushed the tacks through the cups and filled the small holes with gripfill the lettering is still in place 2 years later i pass the job every day on the way to work 😕

you could get yourself some dowel (6mm) drill the wall as normal but use a depth stop on the drill cut the dowel to same length. Punch dowel in to hole with a little adhesive then screw in as normal. you can even touch dowels in with a bit of paint to match the wall if need be.

You know Robert’s going to be complaining that you didn’t put this in Quote & Sub-contracting work section
