Apart from the last two or three, the usual poor display, I see.

    :lol1:

Seriously, again, top stuff. I’d better shut my mouth now or my dodgy laminating ‘skills’ may be revealed….

Curious about the Moonpig – Surely that din’t have planning?

    Tim,

I think the moonpig sign was a (very) temporary one for filming or something.

    Neil,

I had no need to flap about in the flares, you will be shocked and apalled to discover that, as the music playing in the club was from the nineties, then THE NINETIES are considered as retro these days ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

    When did I get old?

    Hi Tim
Yes they did have planning, it was done for a advert, so basically only up for two days while filming.

    thanks for comment

Thanks for the comment Neil… no flares were used or harmed during the making of these signs.. Gareth might have been singing some Abba to himself while he worked but its 90s retro issue vinyl from the 90s.. custom faded ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think the JPM needs some more text on it.
    And some fruit.
    ๐Ÿ˜‰
My fave of all is the Liberty one, really striking in its simplicity.

Some nice work there Adeโ€ฆ thanks for taking the time to post it all mateโ€ฆ

    Quick question.
Did you fabricate your projecting sign in-house or buy in?
I am not sure if itโ€™s just the picture, but is the projector illuminated by LEDโ€™s?
Just asking as there appears to be spotting. Not knocking it all, just curious on how it has been done as I actually like the simplicity look of it.
Also, the bracket holding the projectorโ€ฆ did you get this from http://www.signsystemsltd.com by any chance?

[EDIT] having another look and the spotted might just be the shadowing of the routered text on opposite side of projector?

Not trying to tell you how to create your own work mate, but something to โ€œconsider in futureโ€. Your pan light box for Bang & Olusfen is illuminated by fluorescent tubes.
Only the text area needs illuminated obviouslyโ€ฆ I recently did a small job and went for โ€œLED barsโ€. These come in various lengths and there is nothing too them. Double sided VHB tape or clips hold them in place. Almost flat strips of aluminium. Transformer and all is pretty much non existing in comparison to all the tubes and gear tray palaverโ€ฆ illumination is not the yellow glow from tubes but a nice Ice white. Anywayโ€ฆ just thought ide mention and thanks again for posting your work.

    Hi Rob
The spotting you see for sure is caused by shadowing.
The image shows Tubes not LEDS !?
How come you managed to notice spotting and not the image of Tubes??
    ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜‰
We didnt use signsystems we use a company here in Cardiff.
Not had much experience with LEDs myself but i will mention it to them, see what they have to say regarding the
    benefits/costings/turnaround times etc.
The Job itself looks the business and im happy with it 100%

    Thanks for the feedback

    Cheers

    Hi Marcella.
Yes it was fitted to house for use in a advert, was up for a day, we then had to take it down. bit to big to pass as a sky dish!! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Ive not yet received the final pictures for the night shoot, sign was illuminated and lights put around the house.
looking forward to seeing them, must have looked like the circus was in town.. ๐Ÿ˜€

thanks for looking and the comments

    Cheers

    Hi ade

    thanks for the reply mate…
no i saw the tubes image but i assumed this was for the fascialightbox?

i was talking about the "projecting sign" because it looks like there is spotting in the picturewhere the "text" is. maybe just a shadow/light cast on it… but thought it was spotting at first and wondered how the managed to illuminate something so thin. i know it can be done, but was wondering how you did it. if indeed it is illuminated ๐Ÿ˜€

will make another post re-leds. just going to pour myself a drink. its friday after all ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Hi Rob.
The small projecting sign has Fiber optics but it has not been connected to a power supply as yet.

    Thanks for reply

    cheers
