I think asking for people to copy copyrighted artwork is wrong, howmany people on here complain if their sketch or logo is seen on a customers van copied by a competitor??

Although Corel Adobe etc etc is freely available through kazaa or Limewire etc, and pirated software is sold openly on e-bay.

I think when signmakers or smaller companies like for instance Brian at Impact make a living from supplying a small and specific market its wrong to rob them of their income.

I was at Sign UK and stopped in a the Chalkboard stand….my first impression was that it was very expensive, but then so is Beeline and many vector CD’s I have bought from the US at least $200 per time but you are offering abit more than just another crappy piece of clipart from Corel, and should be able to reflect that in the price.

I’m not jumping on you…just think we have to think abit sometimes…if we want these collections to be available in the future we have to support the people that put them together.

Corel and Adobe etc will survive but not the smaller specialist suppliers.

Just an observation in a very public forum 🙂

i agree with henry on the copyright of software, that and the fact we do not allow such posts here on the boards. sorry…
nobody likes to pay the high prices for software, but we do, and in most cases its well worth it!
i wont go into it all, just to point out that this is not allowed here on the boards.

high fine i understand and take on board what everybody is saying if ref:copyright,the software was bought as in the adobe and corel,as for the chalk art i didnt see them at the sign show,my partner did though and i only placed this posting as it does say swap in the heading,,,again i and also i too am a small company two poeple in fact so all help in regards to work is always greatfully reciveed…so i do apologise i only asked ,,regrads

its not a problem mate. honestly.
your not being singled out in anyway, just replied in this fashion for others to take note of.. starting out is always a struggle, we all have been there mate. any savings are always welcomed. its just the above type of post is frowned upon.
