its been caught in a drum line shark net Mike. They get tangled in them, but they stop them from eating swimmers at the shore line.

There are calls to see the carcas tho as some are saying it looks photo-shopped. might be on tonights news I guess

I would love to visit Australia one day, but swimming there must be like wondering through the Bronx wearing an Armani suit. 😕 :lol1:

If the sharks don’t get you mate, the box jellyfish, blue ringed octopus, rock fish or blue bottles probably will.

Not a huge fan of the sea myself, but in the middle of summer it is the best place to be (as long as the sand bar doesn’t collapse or you get caught in a rip) 🙄

What swimming in Oz turns you into a drug dealing pimp?

tell my daughter Mike, she had to get dressed for school in the bathroom today because I couldn’t kill a spider the size of a CD that was above her bed. It ran faster than I could……

Gets the heart racing 1st thing in the morning though. :lol1:

In response to mikes concerns though, Australia is a great place to visit friends….. as long as you stay alert and have good health insurance..

    Oh My 😕

I have to get rid of all the spiders in our house – the biggest are about an inch overall and even this causes mayhem (my 17 year old son has even wakened me at 2 oclock in the morning to ask me to get rid of a spider – he was more scared of the spider than he was of my reaction at being wakened at 2am).

Imagine the ruckus if we were to emigrate to Australia :lol1:
