    VS-640i Take-Up Unit is not working, help needed please.

    …isn’t taking up. It appears to be completely dead?

    Are there any fuses that I should know about or anything else that might cause the take-up unit to stop working?

    I would throw in some pleasantries right about now but I’ve had a day from hell and actually feel more like killing somebody than being nice. Argh!

    The power supply had failed. It’s a known issue apparently.

    Had this before with take up for VP540, turned out to be a fault with the cable
    connecting it to the printer. Plugged in and out a few times & got it going untill
    a new cable arrived.
