VINYLMASTER PRO V2.95 VIEWS ON THIS SOFTWARE PLEASE
Hi all,
I am using corel draw with the Coral free summa cut utility and would like a proper program and have forund this on the net Ā£249 + vat.
Is it any good and do any of you use it.Thanks

I’ve been down the track of looking at different software packages to do all sorts of stuff…I still come back to good old Illustrator.
I plan to expand in the next year to include another designer, and they will almost exclusively have worked in Illustrator so I won’t have to spend thousands on re training to use another software package, I just have to re train them to include things like outlined text, cut contours and things that are needed to make Illustrator work for my sign machinery.
I use the plugin (Cut Studio I think) I got when I got my Roland cutter in June and it works a treat.
For us, there is a definite advantage to going with the programme that we already know.
IMO if you want to go for a dedicated sign software, go for Signlab or Flexi if you can afford it. If you can’t then if what you’re already doing is working…Keep doing it mate.

I have used VMP for a couple of years now and have been very pleased with it. I am starting to use Corel more & more as it works well for Dye sub.
At the price I don’t think you could get better value for money. Like all programs it has bits you love and bits that other programs do better but all in all it works well.

I bought VMP a few weeks ago. Had nothing but problems with it. Not sure if its me or the software. They come with a dongle etc. which is good. But I just can’t get it to work for me.
Heard it was good so went and bought it. Paid the price you quoted at Ā£249. Just my luck not gettin it to work. Think its me but not sure.
If someone would give me half my money back I’d have their arm off.

We have noticed that some overzealous virus programs causes the USB Dongle on a few systems to come up as though it were blank even though all the information is actually present on the Dongle and it otherwise works fine.
To check this download this file and save it onto your Dongleā¦

Next, run the downloaded file (SetupUSB.msi) and the Dongle files will be installed and so long as the Dongle is plugged-in on the computer with VMP installed on it the Cut Now button will become unlockedā¦
If it says Dongle not found unplug the Dongle and try the utility and dongle in another computer and let me know what it says.
