Hi Kevin and welcome to the boards. If you make a post in the hello forum introducing yourself you will find you get a lot more help. We are a nosey bunch and like to know who we are talking to :lol1:
As for suppliers I am afraid I don’t have any telephone numbers anymore but if you try a google search for people like: Europoint Display, Amari Plastics, Cox Plastics, Grafityp, Victory Design then you should find some numbers for suppliers of vinyl and other signmaking supplies. Or if you look on the home page there are links for some of them.

Hi Kevin,
I also live and work in Portsmouth nice to see a couple down here also, Including Pete by the look of it. For my vinyl I use The Vinyl Corporation in Nottingham. I mainly use oracle 651 which is quoted at £3 a metre but I used my Pompey charm and got them down to £1.10 a metre. Minimum order of 5metres plus delivery. Amari plastics in Hedge end do vinyl but they have to order it in as well so next day still but they are dearer. They have started doing a boards and stuff similar but not that great on prices. There is a place in porchester near Novatech which do A’ boards quite cheap I will try to get their number for you.
Amari plastics do the usual corex, foamex diabond and stuff but also ask for a discount. I can get an 8′ x 4′ corex for £8.10 and foamex for the same but always check when asking for something else cause they catch you with not adding discount onto other items.
Where abouts in Pompey are you it would be good to meet up some time.

Hi Kevin,
Well small world as they say. I live in baffins too Idsworth Road. My second job when I started was The Pear Garden opposite Mcolls in Tangiers road and then I did the big sign on the side of Jesters fancy dress shop, Did the magnetics on her car too. Ive got a catalogue at home now from a firm called Roto Signs recommended from the good people on here. Budget A’board £30 + P&P but they have loads all shapes sizes and materials. Give me a ring and you can pop round. You should see my van outside. Sais The Sign Shed and I will probably be in my shed.07963 077080
Cheers mate
