• Vinyl Suppliers Issue

For a very very long time I have had issues with materials not doing what they are advertised to do.
It seems to me as if suppliers are just dumping their newest materials onto the market and if their is a problem either blaming how it’s applied or some other unreal excuse, and they are not backing up their product.
I have realised for a longer than I can remember that replacing the material alone is not a viable fix to a job you have spent hours preparing, applying, only for to have to reprint and apply again with no compensation expect replacement substrate!

At the moment I have two such materials , one being a standard 5 year polymeric and the other being a very expensive wrap material.
Both of these have had issues with shrinkage and failure.
After checking and observing application, pre-production and printing stages I can confirm the application steps are adhered to stringently.

I don’t want to name and shame any suppliers or materials but feel that even though materials have been returned for further investigation nothing has been confirmed as a problem and the material is still marketed as before.

I cannot believe I am the only one having issues with materials that are not what they should be or do.
