    Hi
I have been asked to do a large printed mural on a bare concrete wall.
    I have suggested ACM panels.
However I read about Arlon DPF 8000, which I am told is good for 7 years external. My supplier sent me the spec sheet, it looks good in theory.
Have any of you used it or anything similar? What preparations did you do before applying it.
    Is it worth a quote?

    Simon.

I have used DPF8000 and it sticks like sh!t, but I’ve only ever used it on plastics. Not sure how it would be on concrete. If it were me I would probably want the concrete sealed first so it isn’t so porous and dusty.

    Thanks for the tips guys.
The job I am pushing for is about 300 square meters if he goes for the whole thing, but I doubt he will have the budget. I think I will end up doing something much less exiting on10-15 ACM panels. Still a large sign – for me!

I have been sent about a square meter of the vinyl and boy does it stick! I would still like to hear from anyone who has used it on an exterior wall.

Hi we got test sample in approx. 2009/10 which we applied to exterior wall (we got the sample at FESPA) we applied to rough exterior wall, open to sunshine, vinly is still secure and colour fast 3-4 years later, its a quality product, takes quite a while to apply
