My personal choice would be a Summasign D750
Or why not contact Brian Hays at Impact sign services (who is a regular on these boards) for some advice

i have found graphtec to be an excellent choice in cutting machines.
we bought one a couple of years ago 1540 wide i think it is..
very happy with it..
we also have 3 other roland machines.. all work great but their support in scotland were crap to say the least.. “Equinox” yes you my old friends. 😉 🙄they may have seen the light and changed them but i wouldnt know.. i now use someone direct..
oh yes and welcome to the boards 😉

I would take a look at the Graphtec machines, their support is 2nd to none. And they are one of the few manufacturers these days that don’t sub contract their maintenance.
Summagraphics cutters are great generally but we have had some big problems with the few that do go wrong. They also sub contract their maintenance and we once had a customer that had to wait weeks for a part to arrive from Belgium.
Having said all that I had a Summa T600 for 3 years or so then sold it on, 3 years later it is still going strong without a hint of a glitch. It also is still one of the best machines out there for tracking.
Depends if you like a gamble I suppose 😉

yeh i have a question.. 😮
what type of rollers do you use to create the rounds of your metal letter returns..
is it a small bench top one or floor mounted one around 2 foot wide.. or a large cnc one?
what make etc… 😉just being nosey mate.. we looked at buying large rollers to cover sheet metal work also. but never went ahead.. you just reminded me! 😉

hi Robert , most of our letter returns are fabricated by hand thats not to say we dont use rollers , if fabricating large circles or 3mm ali letters then we would use a free standing roller about 9oomm wide, theres a guy in london deals in second hand fabrication tools Steve Holder, gives good prices email stevehwm@btopenworld.com
