Vinyl one can write on – is there such a thing?
Hi guys
I’ve been asked to produce 1,000 printed labels that can be written on – with a pen or if that’s not possible, a type of felt pen.
The labels are quite small at just 38mm x 12mm – they need to be able to write the date on them.
I’m not entirely sure if this is possible with vinyl.
I’d be wanting a product that can be used in the Gerber FX. Spoken to Spandex and they don’t have anything suitable or they’re not to interested.
Any suggestions?

metamark do a dry wipe pen vinyl and also a chalk vinyl.

Any Matt white vinyl works

or put down a white spot colour where they are going to write the date, This is what i do

I’m with Mark. Any Matt white.
We do a lot of service type stickers, where the engineer can write the date on them, and never had any complaints.

You can do the same with matt black vinyl and use chalk board poster writers

If you laminate it in 3M high gloss Laminate (8518) or Oracal Clear view laminate, you can use a whiteboard marker.

vandals dont have a problem writing on vinyl,
