  • Vinyl Match from Colour CMYK Ref No

Posted by Martin Gray on October 3, 2012 at 8:19 pm

    Hello

Can anybody gave me a pantone ref no or a vinyl ref no from the CMYK No?

This is all the customer has gave me and knows about the colour. It doesnt have to be exact.

    Colour CMYK:
    C: 92,16
    M: 45,1
    Y: 0
    K: 7,84

    Thank you.

Martin I dont think those numbers make any sense.
There should be only one number for each of CMYK, expressed in percent.

Could be there are two colours, or the comma is actually a decimal point.

thinking about it I guess some countries use commas as a decimal point, dont they?

Even so, expressing a colour percentage to two decimal places seems a bit extreme…

Having said that, Illustrator will register CMYK to decimal places, photoshop wont.
