    Hi all
Anyone use Vinyl Master Pro Signmaking Software??
Im using Corel draw 12 at the moment after many years using Gerber advantage.
Just wanted to know if Vinyl Master Pro Software is any good?
Corel is great but always on the look out for something like gerber advantage, cant afford there prices thou.
Corel was never gonna be my software of choice but over the last year i have really got stuck into it and its very good, it does the lot apart from cutting of course, i use winpcsign for that.
PLT files from gerber wont open thou which is a pain. knew that would be the case as gerber never want there files being opened on other software using PLT formats.

    any feedback would be great
    cheers and merry xmas

Ade, there was quite a lot of discussion about it some time ago and I do remember some of the members at the time were using it but not sure if they are still members. Try doing a search of the old posts as I am sure you will get some idea from what was said.

Future One use to offer a demo version of VMP but not sure if they still do. Might be worth calling them to see.

iv been using vmp for 12 months now and i must say it is excellent, it does everything you could ask of it and more and for £499 i think its hard to beat, today for example i went over to my mates sign shop as he wanted a hand doing a couple of vans and 2 of his staff didnt turn in (xmas hangover we thinks) i had a play with hi 7.1 signlab and yuk i hated it, i was trying to send a design to a cut file and would it let me move the seperate lines of text about within the cut file NO he also uses a recent version of flexi pro exectly the same NO way could i move text around put weed boxes around them and put them where i wanted them in the cut file to be cut, now it may be me not knowing signlab/flexi but on vmp i can select my entire design from impact and send the lot to the cut file then add weed boxes to each seperate line of text and use speed weed on them and put them where i want, VMP gets my vote and you wont go wrong buying it, take up nigels offer and get the demo 😉

think it comes with using one software for so long, i used gerber for many years, its great just so expensive.
Just want a package i can use along side corel so will give vmp a go.

    cheers
