Phil, do you use VMP for all your work ? If so how easy was it to learn ? I have had a look at the demo and it is tempting because it would probably be cheaper to buy this than upgrade my software when the time comes. Trouble is I don’t really fancy learning from scratch again.
It will be some time before I have to do anything as I dont have the money at the moment anyway but thought I would find out what I could now.
How good is the font detective as the demo makes it look great ?
It seems to handle text on curves better than what I am using at the moment which would be a blessing as we do quite a few wheelcovers !!
One point that does bother me though is someone told me it only worked with true type fonts. Is this true as I get quite a lot of stuff from a design agency who work with adobe fonts which the program I use can handle, in fact it can handle things I have never heard of like ickarus fonts (dont know if the spelling is right).

When you say that the prints are being truncated at the end, is the amount consistant?

Also, what is the largest print size that you have printed with the driver?

We will be able to update the driver to prevent this occuring. Can you send an email to ibs@hotkey.net.au with your return email address, so that I can email you the modified driver.
