    Hi all,

Has anyone had much experience (good or bad, preferably good) applying
cut vinyl to soft vinyl wheel covers? I’m thinking a banner vinyl or good cast should be ok.

I’ve also been asked if I can supply full colour printed stickers for the covers as well.

    Any thoughts? Thanks

    Dan

    Hi Dan

Ive done many a wheel cover and never had a problem. On my own Landrover which has been done over 3 yrs now it was just with 5-7 yr vinyl with a bit of heat applied after fitting. (that is with a full circle in silver vinyl with applied vinyl lettering on top)

I tend to use a banner vinyl on the flexible wheelcovers, and a polymeric calendered vinyl on rigid covers (e.g Oracal 551 series).

    Thanks Matt

Sounds good to me, always helps to have that little bit more confidence
when replying to the customer 😀

Thanks Phil, was thinking of using the 451 bannercal + possibly the 751 cast as the 451 colours are bit limited for my current customers design.

Great book by the way 😀

    Cheers guys
