For the best set up you would have to go with the Mutoh SC cutter, problem is the SC 850 Ultima is 660mm and so no good with the Rocky print width of 914mm, so you would have to go for the SC 1400 Ultima which then pushes the price up.

If you have the budget I would seriously suggest you look at the Mimaki JV3 printer and cutter bundle as they have reduced prices just to try and compete with the Roland VersaCamm, my opinion at the moment the best pound for pound buy as got to be the VersaCamm.

I have got to say I bought a Versacamm from Grafityp and am well chuffed with it. I looked at the Cadet and the Mimaki but the Verscamm got my vote.

Thank for the advice. I have been looking around and the VersaCamm looks like the best option.

I also need a laminator and I have found the Uniform Guardsman C-Series. Can you tell me if this is a good laminator?

IF YOU’RE DEAD SET ON BUYING A ROCKY 38 THE BEST CUTTER TO GO WITH THIS IS THE SUMMA S CLASS 120. WORKS WELL WITH CORAL AND ONYX. I FOUND THE ULTIMA TO BE, WELL LETS SAY NOT THE BEST.
