Versaworks install without printer?
Posted by John Wilson on April 21, 2009 at 6:33 pmI’m trying to install Versaworks on a machine that won’t be attached to the printer
Mostly just for sizing up jobs and quick quotes without going all the way into my workshop
But when I install it, it tries to find a printer to verify setup, does anyone know a way to bypass this?
Cheers

you can buy a dongle, but the easiest way is to just connect the printer the once. It will not try to find it again unless something lets VW know the printer is not present.Kev

Spoke with Roland today
Only way to do it is to connect the computer to the printer

I have versaworks installed on my machine without the printer attached? I have the printer on the network.
Actually I have versaworks on about 4 machines in the office.
What version of versaworks and how is your printer connected?
