    hi all,
not sure if I’m to late lol but do many of you guys have problems when using roland versaworks and importing artwork from illustrator with drop shadows or transparencies and with cut outlines that are not working? therefore you are needing to rastorise or save a jpg etc your artwork to enable it to recognise the cut outline, if so message me on here as i have found a resolution to the problem without having to change your artwork or save it differently and saving as jpg etc can affect the quality of the artwork. if enough people need ill do a short video link to show how. thanks for looking hope i caan help.

Excellent – cheers Shawn. Much appreciated. Much better than rasterizing and laying a cut path over the top ! Very simple and easy to understand.

Accent is perfectly fine by the way so keep the helpful video up !

    All the best

    Thanks Shawn,

Inactive cutting lines are the only thing I seem to have a problem with when converting from Illustrator, but only on the odd occasion.

The problem is I resolve it without really knowing exactly what action of mine fixed it.

I’ll take a greater interest in this dialogue box next time.

no probs happy to help and pass on the knowledge, used to annoy me as well as would lose resolution in text etc when rastorising now perfect. many thanks for your comments.
