Hi hope someone can help me on this one.

We recently got a VersaCAMM (SP-300) but it seems to magically run out of ink even though we haven’t printed anything more than a colour chart- when we got the machine the carts were all showing about half full but the magenta went and now the cyan is empty and the magenta is on its way again!

The little ink drain bottle doesn’t have much in so I don’t have e clue where the ink is going!

    Any suggestions?

have you removed any panels to see if any ink in the btm of the printer it did happen to my soljet cos the pump was leaking slightly

also from new the carts should have showm at least 75% full the first set of carts have to fill the whole system the next last longer ?

yeah I have had a look in the bottom but there doesn’t seem to be any leakage- the thing had its pump replaced not so long back according to the previous owner (and a reciept from granthams for £210!) so it shouldn’t have any pump problems however now you have suggested it I will have a look at the connections- it got some rough handling when we brought it into the shop so maybe something worked loose?

    Thanks
