That looks really nice, except it’s not my team. 😥 How long would something like that take to install? Wonderfull work!

My team & I (5men in total) started working on this bus at 7am by 12.30 we had both ends and 1 side done, stopped on that one then (awaiting prints) started on the next one and had both finished at 10.45pm

nice work mate, how long, max… does a promotion like this go on for & what vinyl have you used here? do you bother to laminate?
reason i ask, and i see in your pics, you pass over rivets and some panel frames by bridging the vinyl rather than shrink wrapping into the sharp recesses. obviously if short term it wont really matter as it will be off qiuck enough and saves time and money for the customer. but when i see them in high streets i cant help but think this is an invitation for kids to pop the brittle vinyl on the bridge… or a pressure washer getting under there will possible tear it?

sorry for the questions, just me being nosey mate, bus looks fab! 😛

thanks for taking the time to post your work… look forward more posts from you.. 😀

This particular job was on for one day only, so rivets ,windows etc were predominatley bridged. Bus campaigns usually run from a week to three months so laminating is rare – unless the customer specifies it.
As for what vinyl thats horses for courses, we have done a lot in kpmf vws film ie fhm mag, pop idol, kiss fm, and the taxi on the next photos, but we also like rijet 100 on buses like on the bbc photo, where the shape is complex ie bumpers, lights etc we would print some vws to match the colour.
On longer term jobs we prefer the Avery mpi 1005 if applied properly it seems to outlast most others over vehicle contours, like transits sprinters etc.
