Posted by Steve Broughton on September 18, 2004 at 5:25 pmA few weeks ago on a VW chat site a guy from Peterlee was looking for ideas to do his 1976 bay window pick up, this fella doesn’t have a business he just wanted his Dub done in a Becks beer theme, today he drove for 4 hours (top fella 😀 ) from oooop north to sunny Lincolnshire so I could do it for him.
Its 6.30 on a Saturday so I’m now off to the pub for a few me self 😎

As usual steve, you have done another superb job. Just love the way you angle the logo on the door, and leave the imagination to do the rest, like your style steve! Is the door logo all cut, or is it printed.
BTW, what vinyl have you used for the Chrome or gold on the sides, as i’ve had bad experiences in the past with the chrome disapearing after a time, my fault as it was interior use only.

Great job as always Steve, looks Fab!!

Ta Lee everythings all cut vinyl and the chrome is an exterior one (well thats what asked for 🙄 ) yeah I had the same problems with some about a year ago I think that some companies themselves haven’t a clue wether its interior or exterior 😕 and just send you owt.

that looks absolutely fantastic….some times the visuals are better than the finished thing, but that is spot on….is that logo really all separate vinyl…it looks too accurate…..clever boy!

Think your right steve, I did a job (interior this time, on a window) and ordered double-sided chrome, cut 5 metres of it before i realised it was just single sided. They replaced it immediately, but still had to do it all over again.
