Vehicle Graphics – Vauxhall Monaro
Posted by Wayne Cruickshank on February 10, 2006 at 5:08 pmThanks to Nick at Pauley Design for the artwork. All cut vinyl, (we used Avery 900 Cast), apart from the bonnet which was printed in 2 halves on a Seiko solvent printer.

Nice work. Is that a Commodore Monaro? I thought the UK version had more skirts and stuff.
It is a shame but the monaro is discontinued now because of poor sales.
The work I’ve done here for BP insist on match colours. Is the Green Avery a Pantone matched corporate color, or did you just try and match it as close as you could?

Thanks for you comments everyone… to answer Shane’s questions, the car was badged as a Vauxhall Monaro V8, I think the UK’s VXR model is the one with extra “go-faster” skirts and bonnet vents etc.
The green is a pantone match to BP’s corporate colour, ordered in especially.

Hi Peter, yes the light green is Avery 800 Premium Cast, could be all the bright lights in the workshop making it look shiny!
