So who’s the STIG?

Steam Injected Gas Turbine
?
He is actually a failed F1 driver, a wannabe that wasn’t, why else would he be anonymous?

Great Job Matt, looks really good. Just a quick question for anyone to answer for me really. Sorry it’s a bit of a daft one, but being newish to this it’s one I haven’t really come across yet.
Anyway, how to you layer up a job like this.
You can see my three pictures below as examples, I’m guessing that you do it as in the first picture, but is it acceptable to have the small ridge that would appear where the vinyl’s interesect.
Or would you do it as in the second picture, or the 3rd, but with the third, when the vinyl contracts a bit you would get that small gap between the colours.
Hope this makes sense and someone can enlighten me
Many thanks

In this case I would go for choice 3, but bleed the black over the red by a twitch, to allow for shrinkage, this will allow the black to be black without a red outline if you are slightly out of alignment..but better still put a keyline round the black

I would take off the party hat and sober up first before trying to give this one a go 😛

I know I don’t wear a hat have you been on holiday Phill

Yes Lynn’s is the best way 😉 No problem with shrinkage cos it’s got a gap already, and no ridges of overlap.
-
The regular Stig is Ben Collins. Used to be Perry McCarthy
-
Well for this job, the mvm is three with the three overlapped in order. I just overlapped them. You couldnt really see the crease.

nice job matt, i bet the text on the hood was a pig to weed though !!!
