Here’s part of todays work. Pretty ordinary but clean and bright and just what the customer wanted…!

Thanks Martin. The company is owned by an ex goalkeeper (quite a well known one) and footballer, hence the name ‘Safehands’. Quite clever…!

Roy, the company is owned by Pierce O’leary (played for celtic for a short time I believe, brother of David O’Leary) the other partner is Pat Bonner. Not sure if he’s still involved though.

nice job done marcella really nice and sharp 😀

contrst.crits…..i know it was not your choice of artwork….but i would have changed the font of ‘services and call’ it gets lost with the rest of the design…… 😀

(its okay you can punch my lights out….at the next celtic game) 😉

after a second look Nik I would agree with that, but overall I like the colours and lay out cept for the back door which I would have made a tad smaller at the top to keep within the panel. 🙂

    Nice one Marcella.

That’s exactly the sort of thing I like. Nice, simple and cost effective.

Too many of my clients employ design agencies, who are too clever for their own good, and usually with disastrous results.

They should take lessons from you. 😀

    you’ve got my vote Marcella.

Johns right too. Too many designers never have to actually make it work in real life. A bit like architects – they design these houses and gardens, but maintenance never comes in to the equation.

if the customer is happy, then that is the result we all aim for at the end of the day.

    Good job.

I was a Goal keeper at school. Never called me ‘safehands’ tho, it was usually something like ‘Idiot’ 👿 . We never won too many games so I think the names were probably well deserved 😳

    It is nice and clean.
Not keen on the “call” but that is just me.
On the side I would have tightened up the copy and made the phone number green.

    thanks for the comments. 🙂

Jill – With regards the colour of the telephone number etc, I agree with you totally. Of the original artwork I did for this customer the main logo is the only part that’s unchanged. He sat beside me and asked me to change this bit…. make that bit smaller….. make this bit red….. blah blah blah, until it ended up like this 😕 . But hey, I done several of these now so who am I to complain! 🙂

I have learned to no longer let a client watch me design…saves loads of troubles later on.
    “Can you make this purple?
What about that lettering (pointing to Algerian)
Ooh what’s that Distortion thing mean? What does it do?
You make it look so EASY”
    GRRR
    I hate dealing with that!
    Love….Jill 😉

hmm i prefer them sitting down with me Jill saves a lot of hassle emailing profiles or printouts…the thing is trying to explain to them on the screen will not perfectly match the colors of the vinyls 😀 😀

Ps marcella can i sit down beside you ….for no other reason than to sit down beside you 😀 😀

As a rule I avoid any customers sitting in front of the pc with me. But this guy was keen to come here and ‘talk it over’. The promise of continued work made that easy to agree to. 😀

Brian – you can come and squeeze in beside me anytime 😉 …. just as long as you can find a chair big enough for my big a$$! 😀
